Our nation is under God,
whether it is for our good or our judgment.

The "One Nation…Under God" image is intended as a reminder of the vision identified in the Pledge of Allegiance. *

Red, white and blue colors represent the heritage and tradition of our country; our freedom, order of government and abundant supply of material needs.

The lettering in gold represents the blessings God provided to our nation. But with these blessings comes accountability; consider the parable of the talents in Mathew 25:14-30.

We are cautioned that waiting for Christ's return and judgment is not a passive matter. We must humbly and soberly act as servants and stewards who improve what God has bestowed. On this we will be judged. (Matt 25:31-32)

The cross reminds us our true focus in all things should be Christ.
Our status in grace and redemption is only due to our being healed by His stripes.
Let us determine to follow Him.

* The original pledge did not contain the phrase, "One Nation Under God", but in 1954 it was added.
